The Brevard China Painter Guild Charter was granted by the World Organization of China Painters on March 2, 1970 with 12 members. Later renamed Brevard Porcelain Artist Club, the object of the club is to educate and encourage the study, instruction and appreciation of artists, connoisseurs and patrons of the fine art of porcelain china painting. Through their efforts in educating the public, the members are regularly invited to exhibit their art in state, municipal and professional offices. |

The purpose of the Society is to encourage and bring together those artists who enjoy the medium, to exchange ideas, and to help familiarize one another with the different water media painting techniques. only an interest in watercolors is required to be a member, and the expertise of the members varies from beginner to master painter.
