Fostering the appreciation of athletic competition among the youth of Brevard, Indian River, and Volusia Counties on the east-central coast of Florida. The Leagues of the association provide competitive football and cheerleading programs for children age 5 - 16. The Association nurtures the ideals held in high esteem in the athletic community, including that general participation of youth in sports is one facet of the development and well-being of an individual.

Mission of the Port St. John Youth Football and Cheerleading League: Inspire youth, regardless of race, creed, or national origin; to practice the ideals of sportsmanship, scholarship, and physical fitness. Our specific objective is to familiarize all participants with the fundamentals of football and cheerleading and to provide an opportunity to play the game in a supervised, organized and safety oriented manner.
