The Brevard County Sheriffs Office Explorer Program is a Volunteer program for young people between the ages of 13 and 21. The program allows the Explorers to learn the "in's and out's" of law enforcement. Deputy "ride a longs", explorer competitions and community events are some of the details the explorers get to be involved with. These events are exciting, fun and rewarding for the explorers. |

The Space Coast Marine Institute (SCMI) is a six to eight month moderate security residential facility for juvenile boys ages 14-18 who have committed crimes. The boys have committed an average of 4-12 offenses by the time they are referred to SCMI by the Department of Juvenile Justice. The mission of SCMI is to address the needs of youthful offenders by providing a scheduled curriculum of academic, vocational and mental health awareness activities. |

Protect Our Children, Inc. is a Florida Based, nonprofit corporation organized under sections 501(c)(3), 509(a) and 170(b) of the Internal Revenue Code. We are an organization of local people committed to fighting the sexual victimization of children. The Guardian Brevard is a free quarterly publication distributed throughout Brevard County via the city halls, public libraries, fire departments, police and sheriff stations. 1000 copies are delivered to the public schools for faculty and staff. |
