Description: "The Home of Rock Shrimp" (the shrimp that tastes like lobster), Dixie Crossroads specializes in unique "Wild Ocean Shrimp" caught by a fleet of commercial shrimp boats. Inside the dining rooms Dixie Crossroads is a virtual art gallery; large wildlife murals, photography, stained and etched glass, and even concrete sculptures that portray this region's unique habitats, plants and animals. Outside you'll find plenty of artist Al Rao's wildlife murals, fishponds, fountains, and waterfalls.

When Dixie Crossroads first opened it was GREAT, after livng out of state for over 20 yrs I was anxious to see if they were still open.I wanted to bring my husband, he said "Honey, I'm sure it has changed~ not to expect the same food. Well~~ not only were they open but my husband is now hooked, in our first week we ate rock shrimp dinners 3 times!!!!! The food is still GREAT!!!! The expanded dining rooms are tastefully decorated with intresting stories and the outside waiting
areas have a nice relaxing appeal. Thanks for the memories and we look forward to making more. Glad your still Here!!!!!
