I have been to many different Judo dojos in California and Florida and although the other dojos were fine, this is by far the best one I have ever attended. I have learned more here in 2 and a half years than I learned in almost a decade at the other dojos. There are top notch instructors who help you reach your goals, no matter what fitness or skill level you are starting from. I recommend this place to everyone.

What can I say? I started training Judo a year ago to get into shape, learn a martial art, and to learn to defend myself. I am now in the best shape of my life and I have learned to deal with adverse situations in a positive and balanced attitude. This Dojo has an amazing head instructor who is a master of many martial arts. Sensei Parrit has taught me more about Judo and life in general than anyone I have ever met.The entire Instructing Staff is amazingly warm, and helpful.I have always felt as if I could walk up to any of the instructors and ask them anything. The dojo environment is one of safe learning and gradual progress. They work with you to teach you at your own pace. The environment breeds self-improvement and self-discovery. I highly reccomend this Dojo for both kids and adults. It has truly helped me in both Judo and many other aspects of my life.

Joining SJJ was my first ever venture into martial arts so I didnt really know what to expect. I was pleasantly suprised once I got there. While I was expecting a drill sergeant atmosphere what I got was more of a family/ group of friends atmosphere. All of the instructors and students are super friendly, and theres always laughs and jokes to go around. Add this to top notch teaching by the instructors who are all highly ranked and its just a great place to learn. I think wether you are aiming for learning self defense or to compete in martial arts this is the place to do it. I was hooked on day one and have now been at it for about a year and a half.

I would highly recommend this dojo for anyone wanting to learn martial arts.
